We spoke toMarco Veri to find out more about the firmand the services it offers. Established in 1965, Socabelec is an integrator in automation and robotics in industrial applications that has worked hard to remain at the forefront of the latest technologies for its clients, as Marco explains. “Here at Socabelec, our mission is to improve work conditions in our client’s facilities. We are placing robot who are taking the risk in the job and then can help to improve the productivity. This increase of productivity allows companies to remain in high labour cost area. Operators can focus their attention in quality control instead of swabbing mold which is a very hard and dangerous job. “Despite this, we work hard to support our staff, and to ensure excellence our engineering team is composed by skilled engineers with a very large and long experience. We are working in different sectors and this allow us to bring solutions “out of the box” of a dedicated sector. We have also invented a robot (called swabbing-robot) who is spraying oil in molds producing glass bottles, without stopping production and without rejection of bottle after swabbing.” To ensure that staff are always able to provide the very highest standards of service and support, the firm works hard to offer them a collaborative, supportive culture, as Marco is eager to highlight. “Internally, our culture is customer oriented, as we are always exploring how we can offer them a better quality product at the right price point. The initial idea for the robot was truly revolutionary, and despite the fact that, at the time, we have no experience in this field, we succeeded where many others had failed, and going forward this pioneering approach will remain our core focus.” BBE17003
