Benelux Enterprise Awards 2020

EU BUSINESS NEWS / 2020 Benelux Enterprise Awards 19 , ZO ingericht A small interior design studio, ZO ingericht, has beenmaking waves and impressing with their stylistic work. Taking on big challenges with smart and innovative 3D tech, while designing furniture lines on the side, ZO ingericht is well deserving of both the Best Interior Architecture &Design Practice 2020 – Netherlands award, and the Award for Innovation in Furniture Design 2020. Aug20524 ZO ingericht is a creative design studio that specialises in high-end interior design. The studio’s high quality and imaginative designs make them a fierce competitor for other interior design companies to match. Working out of the Netherlands, ZO ingericht is headed by lead designer Addie Rozema. They have been featured at multiple exhibitions and won multiple awards. The studio makes use of the latest technology to render their projects completely in 3D virtual space. They are able to present their concepts and plans in a photo- realistic impression to their clients. It is this expertise with virtual, 3D space that allows ZO ingericht to stand out. Using it, they can ensure that the client is one hundred percent happy with the design before they begin the renovation. There is nothing worse than a disappointed client after all the décor has been ordered and installed. In addition to the design studio, lead designer Addie Rozema, has founded his own furniture brand named “Adeo design”. The first collection, called “ACOLLECTION” was launched last January, debuting at the IMM International Furniture and Interiors Fair in Cologne. The collection consists of multiple units. There is a coffee table, a dining table, and four special side tables, all which go together and give a very timeless design feeling to a home. The dining table and side table won two prestigious awards last year in June, at the International Design Awards in Como, Italy. Currently, ZO ingericht is working on a hotel project, renovating a beautiful building on the German island of Borkum. They have been able to design the interior from the ground up. The building dates back to 1898, giving it its own challenges to work with. Working with older buildings is always a bit more complicated, but the team at ZO ingericht are excited to confront the challenge and bring back the styles of the past and combine it with something new. As the business develops and grows, they are changing the way they work in order to reflect the changing times. The most explicit example of this is in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic. Splash screens are now common in the hospitality industry and in the modern office space; how do you incorporate a two-meter working space into an office design? ZO ingericht are using a high level of creativity to answer these design problems in an aesthetically pleasing way. Furthermore, as the industry trends towards more sustainable projects, materials are changing. As a studio, ZO ingericht are trying as much as possible to contribute ideas towards sustainable solutions within the industry. Despite these strange times, the future is looking bright for the company. Afterall, as we are all spending so much more time indoors, living and working in the same spaces, the demand for renovations is increasing. We are excited to see the amazing projects that ZO ingericht will produce in the future.
