We chat to Lauren about her journey and how she is now poised for future success following a win in the Irish Enterprise Awards 2026. Prior to establishing LashCraft, Lauren had a flourishing career as a professional singer and actress. With training in musical theatre, she spent many years teaching at performing arts schools across Dublin. Alongside her love for the stage, Lauren also explored the world of makeup artistry, developing a deep passion for beauty. As an avid lash extension enthusiast herself, Lauren struggled to find a new lash artist after her long-time technician stopped offering the service. This setback sparked an idea: why not train in the style of lashes she loved so much? Beginning her journey by first mastering classic lashes, Lauren spent an entire year refining her craft to ensure excellence before offering her services to the public. Her drive to offer quality lashes led her to expand her skills further, training with top lash artists across Ireland in various volume lash techniques. Through a combination of hard work, word of mouth, and Lauren’s dedication to delivering flawless results, LashCraft began to grow. Over time, Lauren’s lash artistry has gained recognition, with her work featured on well-known faces in magazines, on live TV appearances, and on brides on their special day. Today, Lauren provides thoughtful, in-depth consultations where the bride, makeup artist, and lash artist are all aligned in their requirements. This ensures every bride receives a look that complements her makeup and helps her feel like the best version of herself on her wedding day. “As a bride myself and a former makeup artist, I understand how lash extensions can sometimes alter or overpower the eyes,” Lauren elaborates. “I wanted to create a space where makeup artists feel confident knowing their bride will arrive on the day with lashes that enhance their natural beauty, not compete with it.” Over the last eight years, Lauren has worked hard to build genuine relationships with her clients. This ensures she can continue providing the best care and experience each and every time. She finds it more advantageous to stay focused on her own growth rather than that of competitors. Lauren does this through a programme of continued learning and refining her craft, regularly investing in her education and learning top techniques from other artists. “I’ve found my niche in creating natural lashes for the no-makeup makeup look,” Lauren tells us. “I love a clean, effortless style and tend to attract clients who feel the same way—those who want to look polished without a lot of upkeep. The health of your natural lashes is always my top priority.” Lauren’s diligence and dedication to her art paid off when she was nominated for Best Lash Artist 2024 at the Image Beauty Awards, where she proudly won Bronze. Furthermore, Lauren is adding to her trophy cabinet, having recently been crowned Leading Bridal Lash Artist 2026 (Dublin) in the Irish Enterprise Awards 2026. Looking to the future, Lauren has ambitious plans for further growth. Prior to Christmas 2025, she launched her signature LashCraft Lash & Brow Serum, which received an overwhelming response, selling out within just a few short weeks. This multi-peptide serum is prostaglandin-free and made without harsh or unnecessary ingredients. Designed to nourish and strengthen lashes and brows while delivering visible results without unwanted side effects, the serum has now made a comeback and is available online or at selected beauty salons. This year also marks an exciting new chapter for LashCraft Education, which will see Lauren offering one-to-one and small group training courses for anyone ready to start their own lash journey or elevate their existing skills.
