Jul22493 17. Motorhomes have a very passionate fanbase, and with this landscape constantly changing as new vehicles, gadgets, and accessories are released, enthusiasts need somewhere trusted they can go to stay up to date on all of the latest news and insights regarding this lifestyle. Acclaimed online magazine Allt Om Husbilen strives to be just that, and with as many as 150,000 readers visiting it each month, it is clear that the features it runs are drawing people in. We had the pleasure of catching up with CEO Lars Jarlerund following its recognition in this programme. Having turned five years old in February just gone, the journey that Allt Om Husbilen has been on since it went live in 2021 has been remarkable. Running for 12 years in print before making the switch to digital, this online magazine has become Sweden’s largest motorhome publication. To date, more than 450 motorhome tests have been published, alongside reports from international trade fairs, detailed gadget tests, useful tips, and more. All of this content is available to everyone, free of charge. Boasting the most extensive test library in Sweden, the editorial team here, including editor-in-chief Stefan Janeld and tech guru Stig Forsberg, leverage their combined experience in the motorhome industry to offer a level of depth that is simply unmatched across this sector. Lars himself brings four decades of expertise to the magazine, and with Håkan Bengtzon testing accessories in real-life situations, due to him living permanently in his motorhome, it is clear that, between them, the team cover all the bases for their readers. The success of Allt Om Husbilen over the last five years can be attributed directly to this team, who share a thirst for knowledge and the desire to spread this with the everexpanding motorhome community. As Lars explained: “We all have extensive experience with motorhomes and the motorhome industry. No other editorial team, online or offline, has greater combined experience or knowledge. We dare to promise that!” This experience also means the team are close to the market. Connections are built over time, and given the decades they have in this space, it is hardly surprising that this team can be found everywhere from trade fairs to workshops, with the latter giving them the opportunity to see how motorhomes are repaired, accessories are installed, chassis are upgraded, and so on. This adds a sense of richness to the articles, something that shows right across the magazine. The network Allt Om Husbilen boasts can also be seen commercially, through advertising and partnerships. Partnering with some of the biggest brands in the world of motorhomes, from Adria and Hymer to Dethleffs for the vehicles themselves through to the likes of Thetford and AL-KO for accessories, a big part of how the magazine is able to keep its content free is by striking these collaborations. Claus Widell is the man responsible for the advertising side of the magazine, and he brings more than two decades of expertise to the table. Claus knows what sells, how adverts should look, and how they can impact readers. One of the benefits of advertising with Allt Om Husbilen is that it is a fully digital publication, having made the switch to online before many of its competitors. This makes updating any advert spots with a brand’s latest products easier than ever, ensuring eyes are constantly on new releases. What’s more, the highly niche nature of the magazine provides access to a targeted, ready-made pool of customers, as all those who see the adverts are already interested in these types of products. “We reach over 70,000 unique visitors a month on average, with our top listing bringing in 150,000 unique visitors in a month. This, combined with our variety of advertising options, makes us the most costeffective advertising agency on the market.” Continuing to strike this balance between free, high-quality content and a place where advertisers can showcase their motorhomes and accessories, Lars told us that he and his team are in the process of starting a sister site for caravans, thereby helping the industry to reach new and old stakeholders alike. They have recently purchased www. alltomhusvagnen.se to help make this a reality, with updates to follow. Named the Best Motorhome Publication 2026 in this edition of our Scandinavian Business Awards, carrying on a hot streak that began with the 2024 iteration of this programme, it is our pleasure to once again recognise Allt Om Husbilen’s impact.
