Every day, Christos communicates with the management team to work towards resolving any immediate issues, as well as making small adjustments to the core of PERI Hellas’ strategy, which is reviewed and defined each year. A key part of reviewing the strategy is to identify the reasons why the team might fall short of expected results, alongside designing appropriate countermeasures. The main priority of this process is to ensure, through clear communication, that both the plan and roles are fully understood at all levels. From that point on, commitment to executing the plan is required, as well as a proper measurement system that provides an accurate and timely overview. After decades of working with the same individuals, the team has reached a high level of communication that, even in intense moments, translates into the attitude and intent of family. Christos has dedicated almost three decades to building this close-knit, collaborative culture across his team, and takes immense pride in the results of his work. He told us, “After 26 years with the company and 13 years in this role, I can proudly say that my greatest achievement is the team and its values.” From his early beginnings in the construction industry to his current role as Managing Director, Christos Chaidemenos has led a professional career defined by reliability, passion, open-mindedness, and transparency. In light of Christos’ recent success, we asked the Managing Director for his parting thoughts. “If I were to summarise my entire experience and offer one piece of advice in a single sentence, I would say that the most important asset a company has – and the one it should invest in – is its people,” he shared. “This is because no matter how talented a leader may be, or how ambitious and well-designed the overall plan is, no one can execute it alone.
