NEWS Integrating into European Power Trading -- iSolarCloud Partners with Frank Energy to Build a New Smart Dispatch Ecosystem s a leading smart energy service provider in Europe, Frank Energy's business spans multiple European countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, serving over 150,000 end-users. The company is built on transparent, market-based dynamic pricing and pairs intelligent energy management services to offer users 100% green electricity without additional premiums. By aggregating distributed energy resources to participate in local power market trading, Frank Energy helps users maximize their energy asset returns, establishing itself as a benchmark enterprise with strong reputation in Europe's energy transition. In this collaboration, iSolarCloud leveraged its mature technical integration capabilities to rapidly achieve deep connectivity with Recently, iSolarCloud (www.isolarcloud.com), the plant O&M platform under Sungrow, officially entered into a strategic partnership with Frank Energy, a renowned innovative energy service provider in Europe. Leveraging the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) dispatch system, both parties will collaborate to optimize residential PV and energy storage resources, enabling local users in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg to fully unlock the value of their energy assets. This partnership also marks another validation of iSolarCloud's open access capabilities in the European market. A Frank Energy's VPP platform, successfully participate in European electricity market trading. Through this partnership, energy resources connected to iSolarCloud— including energy storage and PV systems— will be aggregated into a unified dispatchable VPP resource pool to participate in electricity market trading. Based on the technical synergy between both parties, Frank Energy generates optimal charging and discharging dispatch strategies based on real-time price signals from the power market, and transmits dispatch commands to users' energy storage devices through the iSolarCloud platform. This enables automatically charging during lowprice periods to reserve clean electricity, and discharging stored energy into the market during peak-price periods or grid stress to capture premium returns, while also earning additional compensation by providing grid ancillary services. This means users' home energy storage assets will no longer merely serve their own electricity needs, but can become flexible, value-added assets participating in power market trading— effectively improving users' energy investment returns and further reducing household electricity costs. The rapid implementation of this collaboration fully demonstrates iSolarCloud's ecosystemfriendly approach. Through iSolarCloud's Developer Platform (https://developer-api. isolarcloud.com), device operational data interfaces and dispatch command interfaces are securely encapsulated in API format, allowing third-party applications (such as VPP aggregators and local energy trading platforms) to access according to defined rules without altering underlying systems on either side—significantly reducing development costs. This platform also enables iSolarCloud to quickly integrate into energy ecosystems across different global regions, delivering smart energy services tailored to local needs for more overseas users. "The partnership with Frank Energy is a crucial step for us to participate in and accept dispatch from European VPP companies," said Mr. Sean Xu, Head of iSolarCloud of Sungrow. "We are not merely responding to dispatch commands; we are tightly integrating our dispatch strategies with dynamic pricing models across European markets, making every kilowatthour smarter. The direct value this brings is tangible economic returns for our users— helping households with storage charging equipment recover their investments faster and maximize their energy asset returns." Going forward, Sungrow will continue to uphold the philosophy of open collaboration and winwin partnerships. Relying on its technical capabilities, the company will work with more global local energy partners to continuously deepen its VPP ecosystem layout, bringing more efficient and profitable smart energy solutions to users worldwide and contributing to the global energy transition.

NEWS TMT Finance Publishes Europe Market Sentiment Report 2026: M&A Optimism Surges as AI Dominates Digital Infrastructure Deal Activity Survey of 202 senior executives reveals growing M&A confidence despite widening valuation gaps, and capital markets set to reshape European digital infrastructure financing by 2027. TMT Finance, the leading source of data and intelligence on M&A, financing and investment in global digital infrastructure, has published its Europe Market Sentiment Report 2026 – a comprehensive survey of 202 senior executives representing leading investors, operators, lenders, and advisors active in European digital infrastructure. Key Highlights • 77% of respondents expect digital infrastructure M&A activity to increase over the next 12 months – up from 62% in 2025 • 78% identify valuation gaps as the primary barrier to deal completion – a 30-percentage-point jump year-on-year • 59% identify AI-linked datacentres as the most attractive M&A segment • 93% expect only projects with secured land, power, and anchor tenant commitments to proceed to completion • 77% expect ABS and CMBS to become the dominant source of digital infrastructure debt by 2027 • TMT Finance's proprietary pipeline is tracking 64 anticipated M&A deals and 100 financing deals across European digital infrastructure for 2026 According to the report, market optimism has reached a new high, with 77% of respondents expecting M&A activity to increase over the next 12 months, up from 62% in 2025 and consistent with a globally synchronised uptick in deal expectations driven by the AI infrastructure build-out cycle. TMT Finance's proprietary pipeline reflects this confidence, tracking 64 anticipated M&A deals across all four principal digital infrastructure segments, with datacentres leading on 24 transactions. AI-linked datacentres remain the standout asset class, identified by 59% of respondents as the most active M&A segment. A decisive 93% of respondents expect the development pipeline to undergo significant natural selection, with only projects that have secured land, power, and anchor tenant commitments – supported by credible financing – proceeding to completion. Meanwhile, debt markets are shifting decisively from build finance to capital recycling. Refinancing and capital markets take-outs dominate anticipated debt activity at 42%, while 77% of respondents expect ABS and CMBS to become the dominant source of digital infrastructure debt by 2027. European market infrastructure for these instruments remains nascent – only three datacentre ABS issuances have been completed to date – but lender appetite is building. The Europe Market Sentiment Report 2026 is based on proprietary polling data collected at TMT Finance's annual EMEA conference in London in January 2026, capturing the views of 202 senior executives across finance, advisory, and industry. Combining survey data, proprietary deal-flow intelligence, and expert analysis, it provides a clear view of deal activity, financing trends, and the key opportunities and risks shaping the market in 2026. Ben Nice, Chief Content Officer, TMT Finance, said: "We are thrilled to launch our inaugural Europe Sentiment Report, combining unique dealmaker intentions data with TMT Finance's proprietary M&A and Debt pipeline data, and our deep editorial insight. The report provides a clear view of a rapidly evolving market, where accelerating M&A activity, AI-driven demand, and growing capital deployment are reshaping investment strategies." "The findings will enable our clients to identify emerging opportunities, anticipate deal flow, and position effectively in an increasingly competitive market," he added. Elles Houweling, Editor, Features & Special Content, TMT Finance, said: "Europe's digital infrastructure market is entering a decisive new phase, shifting from expansion to execution, consolidation and capital recycling across datacentres, fibre, towers and telecoms. Contracted hyperscaler revenues remain central to deal underwriting, even as AI-driven growth reshapes the long-term investment thesis – transforming datacentres from capacity plays into strategic energy and compute assets where power security and sovereign priorities increasingly converge. This is reflected in the market's growing selectivity, with 93% of investors expecting only projects with secured land, power, anchor tenants and credible financing to reach completion." EU Business News Q2 2026 Human-Centred Growth: The Secret to Business Success

7. FEATURE Technology and rapid digital transformation now dominate the business conversation. And with AI having such an enormous impact, it’s easy to understand why. But while there’s no getting away from the potential that tech currently offers, businesses are beginning to make a serious mistake in overlooking the power of people. Without people, innovation simply can’t exist, and the companies that seek to grow without that human focus at their core are preparing themselves for failure. Why businesses can succeed without human-centred growth Technology needs people. And this is what many businesses are failing to appreciate in the rush towards digital transformation. Because while artificial intelligence, automation, and all the other digital tools are proving incredibly useful for driving efficiency and productivity, they are only tools. The idea might be that they can be self-sufficient, working entirely independently to meet the needs of any given business, but the reality just doesn’t look like that. You need people to not only maximise but actually open the potential of all of these advanced technologies. When you remove people from the equation, the tech almost inevitably misses its mark. But when you take a human-centred approach to tech adoption, you experience real progress in a variety of important areas. Innovation Technology is often viewed as going hand in hand with innovation, but you need human imagination to get there. Creativity only grows where employees feel safe to question established thinking, test ideas, and approach problems from new angles. When teams operate under rigid expectations or constant pressure to conform, curiosity – or at least, the willingness to voice it – dies. Without that sense of confidence and freedom, businesses begin to lose their way because they lack both the energy and ingenuity that can drive genuine innovation. Efficiency All talk of efficiency now almost always revolves around automation and AI. And there is no doubt these technologies have transformed a whole range of business processes. But even automation depends on people. If you don’t have informed, experienced, and motivated team members who are able to identify inefficiencies, recognise opportunities for improvement, and introduce new solutions, you’ll never be able to introduce the tech you need, where you need it. When AI and automation are positioned as competition, employees begin to feel disenfranchised and reluctant to make those suggestions that could support efficiency gains. Transformation Business transformation is typically driven by technological change. But you need people to support that. When organisations approach transformation with a focus on inclusion, support, and education, employees become advocates, rather than reluctant adoptees, complaining about the change. Scaling We’ve all heard the conversation about tech being the solution for peopleless growth. But we’re also increasingly hearing stories about how this approach has failed. The best way to use tech to facilitate growth is to use it in ways that it can support your people. Whether that’s enhancing the performance of individuals or increasing the capabilities of entire teams, the aim is to help them to do more. Not to threaten them with obsolescence. Because when employees feel secure in their roles, they are far more willing to contribute ideas and support growth. The principles of human-centred growth At the core of human-centred growth is connection. If you want your teams to be committed, you must genuinely engage with your employees. That doesn’t mean memorising names and faces, but being open to regular interaction. The days of the hierarchical, closed-door approach are over. All leadership members need to be approachable and willing to listen to and learn from their teams. When employees feel heard and recognised, they begin to feel valued, and that sense of value strengthens loyalty and engagement. Communication is equally important. All people really want from their managers is clarity, honesty, and acknowledgement. They want someone who says “well done” and acknowledges when a task is a big ask. And when leaders consistently demonstrate appreciation for the work their teams do, they reinforce each person’s sense of purpose and contribution. Why people matter It is easy to understand why technology is capturing so much attention right now. It’s new and exciting, and tools like AI, automation, and biotechnology hold such enormous potential to change the way we work and live. But we also have to acknowledge that in all this rapturous appreciation, we’re at risk of undervaluing and undermining our teams. Employees increasingly feel uncertain about their future, aware that job security is no longer guaranteed. And that uncertainty can easily lead to disengagement or loss of loyalty. And that matters, because despite all the technological breakthroughs, businesses still rely on people to bring the uniquely human qualities they need to thrive. Not just empathy, but judgement, and contextual understanding. And these qualities are impossible to automate. Technology is absolutely, undeniably essential to modern business. But people are what make technology valuable. And it’s the businesses that recognise this, and invest in human-centred growth, that will gain the advantage going forward. The company works with clients ranging from online entrepreneurs to huge international marketplaces such as eBay and Shopify, supporting them by offering help navigating the increasingly global trade landscape. We caught up with AVASK’s award-winning CEO, Hatice Dönmez, for more on her role and its impact. Jul22546 her role as the company’s business operations and tax director, a responsibility she has held since joining AVASK in 2021. Prior to this, her career was shaped by a strong foundation in international commerce, technology, and operational strategy. Early on, this involved Hatice developing an understanding of how businesses scale across borders, especially within the complex regulatory environments that differ from region to region. In parallel to this education, Hatice began honing her expertise in tax advisory and tax law, engaging herself in operational processes involving multiple tax types. The hands-on experience this offered gave this future CEO all the knowledge she needed of the strategic and practical challenges that businesses face, eventually paving the way for her future as the head of an organisation specialising in this on an international scale. Concerning leadership, Hatice began to take roles where she was responsible for driving growth as well building structure. Her authority was boosted when she become certified as an e-commerce tax specialist, one of many professional training and continuous education initiatives she has completed over the years. Hatice’s progression to CEO after around 30 months at AVASK was therefore the next natural step for her career. With the knowledge and expertise of its CEO to boot, AVASK has enhanced its capabilities as a one-stop shop offering seamless crossborder e-commerce tax compliance, VAT and sales tax solutions, and EPR compliance to its clients. Its standing across these channels can be attributed in part to the strategic partnerships it fosters and the presence it boasts across industry events, both of which see it directly engage with its clients and address their real-world challenges. More important, however, is how it does this. One of the defining elements of AVASK’s approach is the pairing of its global subjectmatter experts with a proprietary technology suite. The balance of automated precision and personalised, local knowledge this offers is, in the eyes of the company, the most effective approach to these areas of focus. And it is again the duty of this German e-commerce tax expert CEO to uphold this, something which she takes great pride in. All these responsibilities feed into what Hatice calls an ‘expertise-driven empowerment’ style of leadership, whereby she adopts a valuesforward approach to encourage cooperation, discussion, and learning together. The result, she hopes, will be an international team aligned on top of a shared drive for technical excellence. It is clear Hatice expects more from her team than simply being tax or ERP experts, and they must instead enable growth. Her job as AVASK’s CEO is to provide them with the culture to do so. “Culture plays a central role. When people understand the ‘why’ behind what we do, they perform at their best.” Making this all the more important is the fact that the world of compliance is ever changing, so having something like a solid internal culture to hold on to in the midst of all of these shifts helps keep the team grounded and focused. Nevertheless, tackling these challenges is key for a company looking to remain one step ahead in its field, and this is why AVASK prides itself on an ability to act quickly. This has taken numerous forms over the years, from restructuring its processes to adopting the latest technologies. Exploring these shifts in more detail, Hatice told us: “Adapting to rapid regulatory change, such as DAC7 and new EPR schemes in Europe, led us to evolve from a ‘tax-focused’ firm to a ‘compliance-as-a-service provider’.

11. Best VAT & Customs Compliance CEO 2026: Hatice Dönmez This shift required investment in internal training and technology, turning regulatory challenges into value propositions for enterprise clients.” Of course, things did not end there, as the industry continues to pivot. Tax authorities moving to digital systems and real-time reporting is just one example of the fast-moving nature of this space, meaning the challenge for AVASK has gone beyond simply filing returns to ensuring that data is both accurate and delivered quickly. As for how the company has responded, Hatice oversaw the updating of its systems to make sure clients did not experience any delays as a result of these new laws. The proactive decision taken here is indicative of AVASK’s forward-thinking nature more generally. A great example of this in action is the organisation’s ongoing strategy, which can be boiled down to the four cornerstones of geographic expansion, enterprise-grade solutions, technology leadership, and strategic alliances. These are currently fuelling its growth, as Hatice commented: “AVASK is already a well-known global business, but by 2028, I plan for us to become the ‘operating system’ for global trade compliance.” To this end, it is currently developing new projects to automate links between customs and VAT, with the ultimate aim of making international shipping as simple as domestic delivery. The purpose here is to set a new standard for digital consultancy, letting technology handle the routine work so that its experts can free up time to handle more complex situations that require top-level advice. Ultimately, this is just one of the unique selling points the business is looking to double down on as we move through the rest of 2026. For AVASK, the ambition is to further establish the company as the industry’s go-to service provider. Thanks to the likes of its network of local offices and in-country experts, which allow it to act quickly and maintain close and continuous communication with its clients, as well as the integrated services it provides across VAT, customs compliance, and more, it is already well on its way to solidifying this reputation as the best. Lastly, touching briefly on her own career, Hatice said: “Personally, I remain committed to continuous growth, both as a leader and as a strategist. I aim to further strengthen my expertise in scaling businesses and navigating complex international markets.” Similarly, as a CEO, Hatice strives to share this knowledge with her teams, colleagues, and entrepreneurs, adding: “It is rewarding to witness individual growth and see how this development translates into long-term success for both the individuals and the organisation.” “My priorities are bridging the gap between policymakers and the e-commerce community, advocating for harmonised tax standards that foster innovation, and mentoring the next generation of tax professionals with a digital-first mindset.” With this German e-commerce tax expert CEO at the helm, AVASK Global Compliance Ltd continues to thrive across everything from global tax advisory services for digital brands to VAT and sales tax solutions for its enterprise clients. On the back of the skill, expertise, and cultural alignment she brings to the role, we are delighted to recognise Hatice Dönmez as the Best VAT & Customs Compliance CEO 2026 in this programme. Today we celebrate HOB Pharma Solutions, a reliable business partner delivering validation, quality, and project management solutions to these key players throughout Ireland and beyond. We heard more from Director Hammed Balogun below. HOB Pharma Solutions is a dynamic, rapidly growing engineering and consulting partner that was established in 2021 with the aim of supporting clients across the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, food, and healthcare sectors. The firm works with a diverse client base ranging from small and emerging businesses to large multinational organisations, providing highly skilled professionals and subject matter experts to support both project-based initiatives and ongoing operations. The consultancy’s core service offering focuses on the four key areas of validation engineering, spanning commissioning, qualification, and validation; quality engineering, covering quality assurance and control, risk management, and technical documentation; project engineering and management, delivering structured project execution and leadership; and talent acquisition, sourcing and integrating top-tier technical professionals who are aligned with client needs. “Our mission is to be a trusted partner in delivering high-quality engineering, validation, and project solutions that enable our clients to operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards,” said Hammed. “We are dedicated to providing the right expertise at the right time, ensuring projects are completed ‘right the first time and every time’, while contributing to innovation, quality, and advancement across the life sciences and healthcare industries.” Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, HOB Pharma Solutions tailors its services to the specific operational, regulatory, and project needs of each client. This is complemented by its people-first approach, wherein the company carefully selects highly experienced engineers and public matter experts who not only bring strong technical capability but can also integrate seamlessly into client teams and cultures. This allows the team to operate as a true extension of each client’s organisation, instead of as an external consultancy. Furthermore, HOB Pharma Solutions’ position as a growing company provides its team with the flexibility needed to respond quickly to changing client requirements, whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. It offers an endto-end service model that supports clients from talent acquisition through to project delivery, validation, and quality engineering, a continuity that ensures consistency, efficiency, and reduced risk across the full lifecycle of complex pharmaceutical and life sciences projects. Internally, HOB Pharma Solutions operates with a people-first mindset, recognising that its success is driven by the expertise, professionalism, and attitude of its team. “While HOB Pharma Solutions operates in a highly technical and regulated industry, our success has ultimately been built on the strength of our team and our ability to consistently deliver for our clients,” Hammed told us. “The way our consultants integrate seamlessly into client environments and add value from day one is something that truly defines who we are.” Looking to the future, HOB Pharma Solutions is entering an exciting phase of growth that will focus on expanding its international footprint, as well as building on the foundation already established through Hobson Solutions International. A global solutions partner and subsidiary of HOB Pharma Solutions, Hobson Solutions is now a key part of the consultancy’s global strategy, enabling its team to deliver expertise beyond Ireland and into new and developing markets. HOB Pharma Solutions is actively expanding its presence across Africa and the UAE, which are regions seeing significant investment in pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare infrastructure, and regulatory development. These markets present a growing demand for high-quality validation, quality, and engineering expertise: areas in which HOB Pharma Solutions brings proven experience and a strong delivery model. The sector remains strong within Ireland, though HOB Pharma Solutions expects ongoing challenges surrounding talent availability, as well as a continued shift toward optimisation and the digital enhancement of existing facilities. Internationally, emerging markets are rapidly scaling their capabilities, creating countless opportunities for companies able to deliver both technical expertise and operational flexibility. “Our strategy for 2026 and beyond is focused on scaling what we have already built and strengthening our position as a trusted international partner,” Hammed concluded. “By leveraging our strong base in Ireland alongside our established international platform, we are well positioned to support clients both locally and globally, delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes wherever they operate. “We are proud of what we have achieved in a relatively short period of time and remain focused on building a company defined by quality, reliability, and long-term partnerships.” Contact: Hammed Balogun Company: HOB Pharma Solutions Web Address: www.hobpharma.com HOB Pharma Solutions

Jul22493 15. The rich history and natural beauty of Spain’s Balearic Islands make them one of the most coveted places to live or work across the whole of Europe. Celebrating the magnificence of these surroundings, Mallorca’s Abiel Salas Interiors is a leading interior design studio creating wonderful spaces across private homes and businesses. The studio balances the needs and tastes of the client with an undeniably attractive aesthetic, resulting in its recognition here as being the best in its class. Abiel Salas of the namesake Abiel Salas Interiors began in this space by studying a technical architecture course at the University of the Balearic Islands in Palma, Mallorca. However, halfway through his degree, he started a job at a local interior design office, in the process finding what he believed to be his true calling in the multifaceted world of design. 12 years spent working his way up at this company led Abiel to secure the coveted position of project coordinator, but he quickly made the decision that he wanted to put his own personal stamp on projects, leading him to open his own interior design studio shortly thereafter. Today, he has completed more than 100 diverse residential projects alone across Mallorca, leveraging a signature style at every stage. Seeing every project as an opportunity to create something that is truly surprising, Abiel Salas Interiors refuses to standardise across the world of interior design, instead lending its creative talent and boundary-pushing nature to every space, so that it may breathe the personality of those occupying it. This approach means listening, capturing the essence of the client, and releasing into an environment that more than lives up to expectations. Underpinning the personalised nature of the services it provides, every project with Abiel Salas Interiors starts with the choice of three options, reflective of the three categories of advice, design, and turnkey. The first of these is for those clients who prefer to largely do things themselves, with Abiel lending his expert advice but then largely leaving the client to crack on with bringing this vision to life themselves. The middle option, on the other hand, offers a more balanced approach, as Abiel will deliver his hands-on expertise, but still leave the room for the client to put their own mark on it. A more 50-50 process, this is the perfect choice for those who have perhaps dabbled in interior design before, but still require the experienced touch of a professional designer. Finally, Abiel’s third option has the ‘turnkey’ moniker because he will take care of everything, delivering total peace of mind for the client that their space will be transformed into something beautiful, with a perfect balance being struck between their own uniquity and an environment that is irrefutably maximised to offer everything a person could want. As well as being deployed across Mallorca’s residential and commercial landscapes, Abiel’s unrivalled knowledge is also shown through his custom furniture service, whereby items will be created especially for the client and their own environment. Everything from bookcases and tables to outdoor spaces have been afforded this approach, with this commitment to covering all the bases for his clients being one of the key things setting Abiel apart. “Every new plan is constant innovation; a new material, disruptive colours, or roomfilling experiential lighting.” Regardless of the project, Abiel Salas Interiors’ work process balances the creative with the methodical. For example, it is possible for all of the materials, colours, and shapes on offer to be adapted to exactly what a client wants and needs for their own day-to-day life. This process of thinking without limitations is the essence of this studio, which is guided by the belief that every client space is a blank canvas that is just waiting to be painted. A number of specialised partners are also on hand, allowing Abiel to collaborate with some of the best companies in each field of design. This diverse partner network covers everything from indoor and outdoor furniture for hotels and restaurants through to laminates, tiles, upholstery, flooring, and more. All of this makes Abiel Salas Interiors unrivalled when it comes to interior design across the Balearic Islands, and we are delighted to celebrate its distinction by recognising it as the Best Interior Design Studio 2026 – Balearic Islands.
