Founded in 1914, the Academic Association of the Lisbon Law School (AAFDL) emerged from a spirit of unity among the school’s students and the need not only to ensure their representation but also to fight for the rights of all students—both within and outside the institution. Throughout its more than 110-year history, the AAFDL has been more than just a representative body; it has been a space for freedom and student activism.
