Founded by the Custom Circus in 2003, Nirvana Studios was the 1rst Alternative Cultural Center to arise in the Portuguese artistic landscape, according to several official sources. Forged from the ruins of a former 1940s Army depot, the compound spans over 3 hectares bordered by the historical Military Road. Its many studios harbor all forms of Art, although with a notorious avant-garde predisposition - in that sense, it has been the host of the long run musical show Le Cabaret Rock since 2008.
