Solvatten

Solvatten is a Swedish social enterprise developing solar thermal water treatment technology for households living without reliable access to safe and warm water. Using only sunlight, Solvatten helps families purify and heat water without electricity, fuel, filters or chemicals. The solution reduces exposure to waterborne disease, lowers household fuel costs, saves time, and cuts carbon emissions by replacing the need to boil water over firewood or charcoal. Working with humanitarian, corporate and civil society partners, Solvatten has reached hundreds of thousands of people in vulnerable communities, supporting better health, hygiene, climate resilience and everyday dignity at home.
