<p>Susanne has an agricultural sciences degree and a PhD in applied genetics and plant breeding from the University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart/Germany). She graduated in 2001 on control of recombination in Arabidopsis and worked on two Postdoctoral positions in Hohenheim and ETH in Zurich/Switzerland. She joined Teagasc in 2003 as a researcher and works since then at its Crop Research Centre in Carlow. She has wide experience in forages, bioenergy and cereal crops.</p>
