This recognition means so much to me, because this work goes far beyond photography. Fotoshoot voor Lijfsbehoud was created to support women affected by breast cancer - both before and after surgery - It can be about honoring and preserving what is, or gently reconnecting with what has changed. These images hold space for both — because every body still carries strength, softness, and beauty.
