About Miljomagasinet - alternativet i svensk press
Miljömagasinet, probably the world’s oldest environmental green daily newspaper, was founded in 1981 by Peter Eller, who still runs the paper today, aged 80.
He helped start the Green Party in Sweden in its founding meeting in 1971 and is behind several of the party’s successful election campaigns that brought them into power.
Miljömagasinet is one of ten newspapers that he started. He was born in Hungary to a Swedish mother, who was a spy during World War II for the Allied.
