About WFIS e.V.
As a voluntary association and non-profit federation, we are honoured to receive this award. We represent more than 8 million children and young people and advocate for their rights to education, social equality and a future world worth living in. Every day, all our volunteers do their best to pass on the traditional scouting work, according to Lord Baden Powell, to the children and young people entrusted to us; and, in turn, can pass on their knowledge to other children as future mediators.
