The German Business Awards rewards the hardworking individuals and firms hailing from Germany for their innovation and excellence in their business practice as well as their outstanding overall performance.
Germany is home to over eighty million people and its location at the heart of a dense transport network right in the centre of Europe creates many benefits for businesses in the region. Many of these businesses are SME’s, which are known in Germany as the Mittelstand. The German Business Awards aims to provide many of these smaller, yet highly influential businesses with the richly-deserved recognition that they often miss out on.
Taking part in the German Business Awards is the perfect way to show your employees that their efforts are valued by the organisation, whilst also providing the public with evidence of your successes as a business. Notifying stakeholders of your participation in our programme indicates that your business is garnering the attention of third parties and that word of your expertise, customer service or products are creating a buzz within the industry.
From engineering and manufacturing to food & drink and satellite technology, the German Business Awards welcomes nominations from all traders and businesses in the country. The program will highlight those companies who are found to be driving innovation and competition within their sectors, ensuring that the most deserving businesses get to stand in the spotlight.
Winning a German Business Award provides you with the evidence you need to prove beyond doubt that your company stands apart from the competition. Enhancing your victory with visual reminders, allows for the promotion of your brand to extend even further, which in turn can attract talented new employees looking to work for the best and new clients and customers looking to work with the best.
The awards programme is open to all small businesses operating in Germany. This means we also encourage the entry of those companies and organisations who facilitate the growth and development of the business community and allow for their efforts in making certain an equitable environment exists for these entities to thrive.

Already announced!
Jessie joined the AI Global Media family in 2016 and has progressed into becoming a most valued and most dedicated team member, applying logic, fairness and true commitment to everything she does. Jessie is inspired by the subscribers, followers and clients of SME News and is keen to ensure that within the UK Enterprise Awards we showcase the businesses that truly are doing great things and stand out within their field for the great service and/or products they offer to their customers.
The EU Business News team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. We also encourage external nominations from the subscribers of the magazine, online visitors, social media followers, clients and wider circulation. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination. Should any firm or individual decline at this point, they are simply taken out of the running. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit additional supporting information to cement their nomination. Although there is no obligation to complete and supply material, we have found that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as much as our research team do.
Our dedicated research team will assess all information presented to them. The team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment, based on various criteria such as: business performance, longevity, business growth (either sustained or rapid), any significant innovations or feedback from stakeholders.
Once winners are selected, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner; however, all who take part are encouraged to come back next year. Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our award winners will be made public via the website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.
We are prepared to offer a range of promotional packages and items to winners of a EU Business News award, which vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, to trophies, content in our magazine and on our website.
We encourage all winners to publicly announce their win independently in order to gain maximum exposure for their win. Announcements via company websites, social media, via publicly released press releases, and through local and national press are all great ways of maximising the exposure which can be gained from such a great achievement. If you have need of further advice, on how to publicise your win, please feel free to get in touch. We are happy to assist our clients with their needs.
Here you will find detail of our winners. All featured winners are included in our digital awards magazine which is published here on our website and distributed to the circulation of EU Business News comprising of a little over 100,000 business leaders & industry professionals.
