EU Business News is excited to announce, new for this year the Agriculture and Farming Awards 2021. With the EU being the largest agricultural exporter in the world, as well as the largest global agricultural importer, we at EU Business News are looking to celebrate the enterprises and individuals working diligently within this diverse and vital industry.
Our aim with these awards is to shine a light on and reward the achievements of those in the industry who overcome the difficulties posed by climate change, soil erosion and biodiversity loss and thrive regardless.
We welcome nominations from all areas of the Agriculture and Farming industry from Livestock Farming, Crop Farming, Veterinary Services, Agricultural Auctioneers, Farming Machinery Manufacturing, Specialised Farming Architecture, Agricultural Estate Agents, Agricultural Lawyers and more. To guarantee that only the most deserving walk away with one of our respected awards, EU Business News Awards programme conducts research into the most appropriate and praiseworthy winners based on successful business dealings conducted over the last 12 months.
By taking part in an EU Business News Awards programme you are provided with an ideal way to affirm your status as an industry leader, this can also inspire confidence in your clients, customers, and colleagues that you are providing an award-winning service.
Entrants in the Agricultural and Farming Awards 2021 will be provided with the opportunity to show their excellence and ability to shine in this incredibly diverse industry. Furthermore, Awards are proven to boost company morale and EU Business News’ readers are always wanting to hear of award-winning companies and the strategies they use to boost their success.
To determine our winners in the Agriculture and Farming Awards 2021, our in-house research team carefully examine the information that is available online and in the public domain. Additionally, nominees are provided the opportunity to put together a short case file disclosing details of their chosen business sector and practice, as well as any previous accolades awarded, this will also be used when considering winners in the Agriculture and Farming Awards 2021. Case files, product samples and media packs are all accepted but are not mandatory to be included. Our awards are based on merit, not the number of votes received, this process works to ensure that we reward parties based on their excellence in the industry, the quality of their products and their dedication to service, rather than size of the company and their popularity.
With all this in mind if you know of, operate or are a member of and organisation which you feel is worthy of acknowledgement within EU Business News’ Agriculture and Farming Awards 2021, then please complete the voting form by clicking ‘nominate’ at the top of the page. If you would like further information on how you can get involved, or our awards process then please get in touch with the awards programme coordinator, Gabrielle Ellis by using the contact details provided.
The EU Business News team work hard in identifying great businesses, driving many of the nominations themselves. We also encourage external nominations from the subscribers of the magazine, online visitors, social media followers, clients and wider circulation. Nominating parties are invited to put forward either their own business or third-party companies whom they hold in high regard.
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination. Should any firm or individual decline at this point, they are simply taken out of the running. Those who formally accept are given the opportunity to submit additional supporting information to cement their nomination. Although there is no obligation to complete and supply material, we have found that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as much as our research team do.
Our dedicated research team will assess all information presented to them. The team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or the nominee themselves. The research team casts their final judgment, based on various criteria such as: business performance, longevity, business growth (either sustained or rapid), any significant innovations or feedback from stakeholders.
Once winners are selected, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner; however, all who take part are encouraged to come back next year. Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our award winners will be made public via the website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.
We are prepared to offer a range of promotional packages and items to winners of a EU Business News award, which vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, to trophies, content in our magazine and on our website.
We encourage all winners to publicly announce their win independently in order to gain maximum exposure for their win. Announcements via company websites, social media, via publicly released press releases, and through local and national press are all great ways of maximising the exposure which can be gained from such a great achievement. If you have need of further advice, on how to publicise your win, please feel free to get in touch. We are happy to assist our clients with their needs.
The Nomination Team can assist with answering any queries that you have regarding a nomination, or the process involved in taking part in one of our award programmes.
Please get in touch with us via email or over the phone if you have any questions - we are happy to help!
