Duhallow Community Food Services is a community-focused social enterprise supporting rural Ireland through nutritious food and social connection. Founded to address food needs and isolation in the Duhallow region, it delivers over 42,000 Meals on Wheels annually to older & vulnerable residents, providing healthy meals and daily contact. An onsite restaurant offers discounted meals in a social setting. The organisation also runs a bakery, catering services, and school meal programmes, preparing 3000 meals daily for local schools using locally sourced ingredients. Beyond food, it creates employment, provides training, and strengthens community wellbeing, inclusion, and connection across all generations.
