NEG8 Carbon develops electrostatic Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology for capturing CO₂ from the air to combat climate change and help industries achieve net-zero. NEG8 was founded as a spin out from Trinity College Dublin to develop cost effective, scalable DAC technology. In 2021, NEG8 demonstrated a pilot scale DAC system and is now scaling to full size. The captured CO₂ can be either used in industrial processes, such as in Sustainable Aviation Fuel, or permanently stored underground.
