About The Ark Children’s Cultural Centre
Best Children’s Arts & Culture Providers – Dublin
Sited in Dublin’s Temple Bar, The Ark was founded in 1995 as Europe’s first purpose-designed cultural centre for children. The Ark’s vision, mission and values are inspired by Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989), ratified by the Irish Government in 1992. Article 31 recognises a child’s right to culture, which we fulfil through an annual programme of brilliant art and culture for children aged 2 to 12, both in our home in Temple Bar and further afield through touring and collaboration.
